I did a complete uninstall of Windows Live Mail 2012 then reinstalled Windows Live Mail 2012. The program is now working properly. It appears the latest update KB3093594 is corrupted.

I also have Win 8.1. Same thing happened to me. Also, my deleted items reappear in my inbox as unopened. My emails come in doubles and triples. Now they want me to download and install another patch to fix it but from reading some of the problems, looks like some are unable to access their WLM accounts after doing so.   MICROSOFT please notify me when you have a real and tested remedy for this problem.

after the update i face 2 problems.

the most serious one is this

all new emails from contacts that have greek characters in their name, show up with special characters instead. for example instead of contact name Βαγγελης, i see @%^%#$@^&*

the second issue is that all sent emails have my name in the recepient....

hope these will be addressed and fixed. especially the first one is making me want to get rid of wlm. and i dont want to do that
