    Me.43 ,

Let me know how you make out with the whole uninstall and reinstall. The problem is the update KB3093594 does not show up in INSTALLED UPDATES. For me anyway. So, although I searched for it, I could not find it to remove it before I did the uninstall/reinstall.

I have never seen an update that did not show up in the INSTALLED UPDATES list.

Don't understand who does that thinking!

    TomS

    Hi TomS

Since lunch today WLM2012 has been Ok and not shown the errors I had, But that doesn't mean it will be fine tomorrow. I will leave well alone for a day or so unless it gets worse and then will try uninstalling and reinstalling the whole of Live Essentials.

I loved Outlook Express and had used it since the beginning and hoped to continue but it failed to work with Win7 so had to either use Outlook or WLM. Outlook was a little heavy so went with WLM.

I never got an error code so only searched regarding the problem after patching, so missed any other posts about other similar issues.

Lets hope they are not too long releasing an update that doesn't have a bug in it.

    Me.43,

I uninstalled and then reinstalled all of Windows Live Essentials 2012 not just Windows Live Mail and I believe it solved the problem I was having with the update.

Have you read this update that I posted?

    Syed Abdul Jabbar,

I forgot to mention that if I closed the error message and tried to send an email  that also did not work. It would not send.

The error message I got is the same as the post from  DG1960   ( Please see thread under 'Windows Live Mail 2012 Error code 0x80072EE7'. ) I believe.

Also I could not find the update listed in my INSTALLED UPDATES after I installed it.

I had to uninstall and reinstall Windows Live Essentials 2012 to fix the problem.

I then posted this update to my BAD updates list.

Is this the issues that the patch released a few days ago that on my laptop doesn't crash on opening, BUT any email I delete or move to a folder will actually move, but after closing and re opening the software the emails header still shows in the inbox but with the comment that it cannot find the content. Also the mails that have been read and stored in folders before the last software closing are now in the folders but  show as unread.
