The Sims 2 is an old program that causes/d issues for many, I thought I would share my experience of getting past "The Sims 2 Update Error" when installing expansions. You will need this file, so download it now: http://www.mediafire.com/download/lzbxtj51r6b6e6r/TS2\_update.zip Install the Sims 2 normally from disc Copy the files from inside the downloaded zip and folder to "c:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Sims 2" and confirm to override the files already there. When I install The sims 2 on Windows 10, the following warning appears: "DIRECT3D HAS RETURNED AN ERROR: E_INVALIDARG!" Can anybody help me? Thanks!!!

I personally love Sims 2 as it was really cool & the characters had real personalities especially the Pleasants. They were my favourite. The next games seemed to lack this. I have played Sims 3 quite a bit but not Sims 4 much yet. Love Sims 2 & I think people here feel the same

Copy the files from inside the downloaded zip and folder to "c:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2" and confirm to override the files already there. This will
