Windows Live Mail and Calendars

Windows 10

Started today 11/20/2015 whenever I access Windows Live Mail (2012)  I get an error message 'There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative.  I saw a reply for this problem dated 12/2014 but it did not address this problem in Win 10.  Please advise.  The PC was a Win 8.1 before the upgrade.

    Hotfix KB3093594 has been re-released on 12/17/2015. So you may now install the new d-Mail.msp. The calendar synchronization issue is solved and Live Mail 2012 doesn't crash any longer.

    I don't think it would be legal to share a copy of Microsoft software when the corporation itself has denied access to it. Why do you want it?

    I have tried this several times and after the program supposedly runs I get the message that I have no internet connection. I then open up my internet home page and I do indeed have internet connection. What is the deal?

    The error message that I am getting to cause me to run this Windows Live Mail fix is that I have an error connecting with the Windows Live Mail Calendar.

    Which version of Windows Live Mail, on which version of Windows?

    To find your program version, in Windows Live Mail press Alt-H A. If that does not show you the build number, press Escape twice and then Alt-F B.

    To find your operating system, press Windows key + R, type winver into the box and press Enter.

    I have an error connecting with the Windows Live Mail Calendar.
