Windows 10

Started today 11/20/2015 whenever I access Windows Live Mail (2012)  I get an error message 'There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative.  I saw a reply for this problem dated 12/2014 but it did not address this problem in Win 10.  Please advise.  The PC was a Win 8.1 before the upgrade.

Thank you!

Is there a way to remove the KB3093594 patch, other than restoring a previous Windows restore point?

I don't know, but using System Restore doesn't sound like a good idea. You won't be able to synchronize calendar and contacts without the patch, so if you can live without them, use the right-most button on the Home tab of the ribbon to Sign out of Windows Live Mail until we have this sorted out. Contacts and calendar will still be available online at Outlook.

Windows Live Mail has stopped working

Prior to applying this patch, I had manually configured my Microsoft account as an IMAP account.

This seems to indicate that it's the contacts/calendar sync that's causing problems, not mail accounts configured to use DeltaSync.

    stopped working

Please see my reply to Joe and follow the troubleshooting steps if you're up for it. The more experience we get, the closer we'll be to making this work.
