Universal mobile keyboard won't work

The keyboard works fine while plugged in charging but as soon as it is unplugged to actually be mobile, like its name would suggest, it won't turn on. Even manually using the power/pair button on the side doesn't work. Am I missing something or does it sound like it's definitely broken?

    Hi,

    Seems dealer have given up on this keyboard, assume for the history of replacement.  Spent my refund on the Logitech Slim Folio keyboard for Ipad 2017 edition, which is the best keyboard around - however a bit "spicy" on the pricing

    I was given a full refund and they said the problem could not be resolved. I wasn't really interested in a replacement, so I accepted the refund with no hestitation whatsoever.

    I was given some faulty keyboards to try to fix and there seems to be issues with the charging circuits as well as the usb ports.   It is extremely difficult to take apart.  After much work on these keyboards my best advice is to get a replacement when they break.
