Universal mobile keyboard won't work

The keyboard works fine while plugged in charging but as soon as it is unplugged to actually be mobile, like its name would suggest, it won't turn on. Even manually using the power/pair button on the side doesn't work. Am I missing something or does it sound like it's definitely broken?

It works with Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo, but not any of my other devices, e.g. Galaxy Tab 8.9 or Samsung Galaxy J5.

Very disappointing, since the buttons clearly indicate Android, Microsoft & iPhone / iPad.

If there are exceptions, it should have been clearly stated on the box so one doesn't spend money on a useless piece of tech.

Honestly, this was the biggest crap I have ever owned, very expensive one also. I got rid of it a long time ago and do not regret having done so.

I will never buy anything with Microsoft's logo on it.

Maybe I'm a bit Grouchy or something but I don't recall the issue being the lack of a quick start guide. 🤔

The issue is an expensive product being unusable out of the box. I figure somebody knew the product had a high rate of defects, but decided to sell it anyway since they had already made so many of them. Also, the use case for them was likely rendered obsolete before it made it to market by improvements to on-screen keyboards for tablets, and speech-to-text or Swipe for phones. A simple CYA, with the hope not too many make a purchase.

I guess it's not just an Apple thing anymore...

I have run into the same situation. But I have found a new way to use the universal mobile keyboard. You can use a mobile power bank instead of plugging into the computer.
