Unfortunately, it's not yet possible as there is no Microsoft Movies & TV / Xbox Video app available for iOS or Android devices.
Possible to watch movies I purchased on XBOX One on my Apple iPhone?
I have a media purchasing dilemma. I am trying to decide how I will purchase movies going forward. I have an iPhone 6 Plus, but I love the idea of using my XBOX as a media center. Is it possible to watch movies that I purchase from the Microsoft Store on my XBOX One on my iPhone? Is there a Microsoft player or app that will enable me to access my Microsoft purchased movies on my iPhone? Or will I be limited to watching it ONLY on my XBOX One?
If I'm limited to watching only on my XBOX One, then I won't use my XBOX as media center. I'll just get an Apple TV because I'd like to be able to take my purchased content with me everywhere. Any help and insight will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Geez, you think we don't already know that? I don't want a cord strewn across my family room floor for my grandchildren or me or my wife to trip on.

Don't care about IOS or Android. Would like to be able to cast to my tv via Roku or Mira Cast device like the Netgear PTV2000. That is patently unfair and I believe it may even be unconstitutional.

2016-09-25T13:14:36+00:00 There is nothing in the Constitution about this. It's annoying, not illegal or unfair. Apple isn't really any better. If you want to buy movies that you can watch on any device your best bet is to rent or buy from Amazon. They have put their video apps on all platforms.
