Possible to watch movies I purchased on XBOX One on my Apple iPhone?

I have a media purchasing dilemma. I am trying to decide how I will purchase movies going forward.  I have an iPhone 6 Plus, but I love the idea of using my XBOX as a media center.  Is it possible to watch movies that I purchase from the Microsoft Store on my XBOX One on my iPhone? Is there a Microsoft player or app that will enable me to access my Microsoft purchased movies on my iPhone? Or will I be limited to watching it ONLY on my XBOX One?

If I'm limited to watching only on my XBOX One, then I won't use my XBOX as media center. I'll just get an Apple TV because I'd like to be able to take my purchased content with me everywhere.  Any help and insight will be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, it's not yet possible as there is no Microsoft Movies & TV / Xbox Video app available for iOS or Android devices.

    Well, atleast with that you can download the movie file without it having the license block on it.

    This is no different from what everyone else does, whether it's Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, or Google.  Your best bet is to buy from Google Play because it will show up in your youtube library so you can watch it on any device, including Linux distros.

    Please explain why this is still not possible.. Why does it matter if someone wants to use and apple device to watch their movies if they purchased from M$?  I mean this is just ridiculous!
