Possible to watch movies I purchased on XBOX One on my Apple iPhone?

I have a media purchasing dilemma. I am trying to decide how I will purchase movies going forward.  I have an iPhone 6 Plus, but I love the idea of using my XBOX as a media center.  Is it possible to watch movies that I purchase from the Microsoft Store on my XBOX One on my iPhone? Is there a Microsoft player or app that will enable me to access my Microsoft purchased movies on my iPhone? Or will I be limited to watching it ONLY on my XBOX One?

If I'm limited to watching only on my XBOX One, then I won't use my XBOX as media center. I'll just get an Apple TV because I'd like to be able to take my purchased content with me everywhere.  Any help and insight will be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, it's not yet possible as there is no Microsoft Movies & TV / Xbox Video app available for iOS or Android devices.

    Since the supposed forum owner saw fit to remove my post without due process (which I will take up legally) I am posting a response to above again.

    First of all this is Microsoft. I don't care what Apple does.

    Secondly, I don't think Microsoft takes kindly to it's support engineers suggesting that if there customers don't like something they should go another service.

    Third, it's like the Liberty Mutual commercial says and I'm paraphrasing; your insurance policy is 25 pages long, do you read it all?

    Last but not least, just because something is written in the terms of usage doesn't make it law. Plenty of companies have been sued over their "terms of usage".

    Now if you don't like it go ahead and delete this post, too.

    OR, microsoft could be up to date with their video programs with other companies such as Amazon, Roku, VUDU ,Netflix,  Google  where they can play videos through a simple app and then can be played through Chromecast and other devices... pretty sad that such a large software company is so far behind the curve. 

    If Amazon and Disney does it.. Really forces me to  buy my movies from Google and not spend money with Microsoft ..I don't want to be stuck with plugging in a cable to watch a movie .. FIGURE IT OUT... It won't crash and Die like Zune

    I have found your Microsoft account with Disney watch anywhere account. And there is a Disney watch anywhere app for iOS. It gives you access to all movies that you have purchased on your Xbox, that are Disney movies.  I have not yet found a way to watch any of the other movies that have been purchased on Xbox only the Disney movies

    Hi airmattdog.

    Thanks so much for your reply. I've discovered on some random blog that I found doing a Google search, that Microsoft plans on bringing both their music app as well as their Movies & TV app to both Android and iOS. That blog cited their source as Microsoft and linked to the Microsoft blog (I've provided both links below). Now, the Microsoft blog, (published July 6, 2015) did mention that they intend to bring their music app Groove to Android and iOS (which they have done already), but the article says nothing about Microsoft's Movies & TV app coming to Android and iOS.  So, I remain in the dark about this.

    Being a Microsoft support engineer, can you shed any light on whether or not Microsoft plans on bringing the Movies & TV app to iOS?

    Thanks for any insight you can share.
