Bad Microsoft Media Feature Pack(KB3010081) installation for Windows 10 N

if i try to install kb3133719 the error : "the update is not applicible for your computer" show up any one know how i can fix this

but my app requires media file feature pack for windows 8 But I have running windows 10 Pro N.

I've recently reinstalled my computer with Windows 10 Pro N x64 and updated to build 10586. It's the same hardware and same Windows version only a newer build(just a clean reinstall from scratch).

Since my game called "Call of Duty Black Ops 3" requires the Microsoft Media Feature Pack I installed update KB3010081. After installing the 64bit version it still gives me an error mentioning that I have to install the Microsoft Media Feature Pack. So I installed the 32bit version and the error is still there. When I try to reinstall one of the two updates now I see the following error:


After that I checked wether the Windows Media Player program was installed or not and it turns out it's not there.

Then I tried to uninstall the update by doing the following command:

wusa /uninstall /kb:3010081

But that results in the following error:


After that I tried downloading the updates and executing the following commands:

wusa /uninstall C:\Temp\Windows10-KB3010081-x64.msu

wusa /uninstall C:\Temp\Windows10-KB3010081-x86.msu

But that gave me the exact same error.

Is there a way to uninstall the update or does anyone know the solution to get the Microsoft Media Feature Pack(KB3010081) installed properly?

P.S. It used to work on my Windows 10 Pro N x64 installation a couple of days ago, but I guess it was not on the latest build.

I've never tried this before. Today I just wanted to connect my iPhone's cloud to my Windows 10 PC, and couldn't do it, because Windows lacked Media feature pack. I downloaded the 2 media feature packs I could find, but that didn't help (I haven't tried the third one that I just read about from you guys, but in Denmark it's late at night and I have to get up at 5.

And then I noticed that Windows media center had disappeared, probably after Windows updated about 6 weeks ago to the new Windows 10.

For the same 6 weeks I've been very annoyed that my subscription to Realplayer/Realtime with unlimited cloud-space doesn't function at all, because of missing DLL-file: MFPlat.DLL, - since Windows updated. It hasn't helped to remove Realplayer completely from the system and reinstall. 

At the top of the page we can see that this page is called Microsoft Community, but I've read it all, and have not seen any constructive reaction from Microsoft.

Some of you have got media features in Windows functioning again, but only because you're half-way nerds. What about all the millions of people who have been dependant on Windows functions that suddenly have disappeared? This really scares me, like so many other dysfunctional aspects in and of our so-called modern life.

For at least a year and a half, you brave people have been complaining that Windows never has pointed toward the right Media feature pack, and you have helped each other, but that's crazy.

Microsoft has to be awakened and make a nice little download that can correct this, not only for us, but for everyone in the world who has programs of daily importance that don't work anymore.

MICROSOFT, WAKE UP. HELP!

Have you, Windows, made a decision that you're dropping Windows Media Center, then you've made a bad decision. If you drop media, then for us it feels like you're dropping everything, and who will dare base their life on your services any more?

What are you going to drop (without saying a word) next time?

You're fighting a very ugly war with Apple which is indecent. You offer a terabyte of cloud on an iPhone with an Office subscription and won't even allow them to get a little bitty cloud connection with a PC? That's repulsive! Some of us need that little bitty connection in our daily cleaning up.

Is Windows Media Center really gone forever - you're really dumb. Is Windows no longer a media machine? - you're really dumb.

Of course you need command prompt and something that looks like old-fashioned DOS to talk to the machine, but you can't sell a product to normal people that requires an education in computer science. So dumb you can't be.
