Ok good thanks!
Reboot takes more than 4 minutes!
I made a backup of my Windows 7. It includes a system image. Following this, the computer takes 4 minutes to reboot on every boot!
If I perform the very same backup without a system image, there is no impact on the boot time which is then around 30 seconds...
What happens?

2016-08-09T04:48:32+00:00 I told you how to tell Windows to skip the integrity check a long time ago:
Click the Start orb/button and in the box enter the following:
cmd.exe
Right click cmd.exe and choose to Run as Administrator:
Now you can tell Windows NOT to check the integrity on the volume where your large backup is (if that is F) with this command:
chkntfs /x f:
That tells Windows NOT to check drive F when Windows starts... when you reboot with the image backup are things better? If so you could leave it like that but if there ever really is an integrity problem (if the volume becomes dirty for some reason) Windows will not know about it or try to fix it.
After the experiment you can (and probably should) set things back to normal with this command:
chkntfs /d

2016-08-09T04:44:31+00:00 Hi Tiero,
Your answer is the first answer that I get that really make sense! Now the question, why does the integrity check takes so long? Is there a way to skip it? More than 3 minutes for a boot isn't really acceptable.

Olivier

2016-08-09T02:25:04+00:00 Hi,
Here's our explanation on what is happening on your computer.
You've mention that system boots normally if you boot the system without the image backup that you created.
Simply because a back up *with* System Image is going to include Partition Integrity info.
A backup *without* system image does not.
Booting a restore *with* that system image/image backup is going to do integrity checks during boot that the restore *without* will skip.
Hope this answers your question.

Tiero Chi
