Location is greyed out, i cannot remove internet explorer 11 addon after virus removal

1. Other than the add-ons, i don't see it else where. It doesn't show in the IE11 display nor in an IE11 menu.
2. No other instances for the App ID "{5D7991DD-038....

4. No "Tencent" folder in C...

These "Tencent" references in the registry look really horrible. But, as there is no such folder on C:, it may be best to leave them alone. Over 100 & counting is too many to deal with. Also, they look complex & involve ClassIDs of their own we'd want to hunt down. Maybe...

Search C: for the files "QMContextScan64.dll" & "QMSoftExt64.dll"

... This is just to see they aren't in another folder too that might be mentioned elsewhere in the registry. If the files are nowhere on C:, it won't matter they are mentioned in the registry.

It's also true the BHOs are disabled - & those depended on files that were in the deleted "Tencent" folder too. You could decide to let that alone too. But it appears to be a much smaller job to be totally rid of them. And we've done this much. So, let us prepare.

For some reason, Win 10 turned off the making of restore points. Restore points allow one to revert big changes, including changes to the registry. They are automatically made when big things happen (such as driver changes & Windows Update often makes one). You can make your own just to be sure for big changes you are about to do. Let us turn that feature back on for you...

(1) R-Clk START, & select Control Panel.

     The Control Panel opens.

(2) Click the ">" to the right of its name in the search bar,

     & select "All Control Panel Items".

(3) Find & click "Recovery" in the list of items.

     The Recovery requestor opens.

(4) Click "Configure System Restore" in the Recovery requestor.

     The "System Properties" requestor opens at the "System Protection" tab.

(5) Click the "Configure" button near the bottom.

     The "System Protection for C:" requestor opens.

(6) Put a bolt into "Turn on system protection",

     unless for some reason it already is bolted.

That need be done only once. Now, you can make big changes & undo them this way...

(1) Repeat steps 1-4 above to get the "System Properties" requestor.

(2) Click the "Create" button to make a restore point (prior to making changes),

     or click the "System Restore" button to restore that point (to undo the changes).

OK, my next post will include the registry deletes for you to do. I have found it too difficult to select a BHO remover that might automatically do it.

I searched C: for the files "QMContextScan64.dll" & "QMSoftExt64.dll" but no match were found...

Already done configuring system restore

Very good. I am fully satisfied the files are gone. Make the restore point. Then, here are the deletes.

(1) Open & get to the top of the registry.

(2) Find "{50F4150A-48B2-417A-BE4C-C83F580FB904}".

     Should get you to your search result #1...

(2.1) R-Clk the 3 keys that begin "QQ" in the left pane, & select "Delete".

        The first two deletes will get rid of both search result #1 & #2.

     That 3rd one (QQPCMgr.qbox) didn't come up as a search result, but is clearly part of this. I've seen a post somewhere that advocated deleting everything "QQ". Maybe open it up (by clicking the ">" to its left & any ">" that opens up under it, & take pictures to post - if anything seems terribly interesting.

     I'm tempted to also delete "qqpro" - but let us resist. Maybe take pictures.

(4) Find Next (press F3 or use the menu).

     This should get you to search result #3...

(4.1) R-Clk the Class ID ({50F4150A...) in blue in the left pane, & select "Delete".

(5) Find Next (use the menu or F3).

     This gets you to result #4...

(5.1) R-Clk "DownloadUI" in the RIGHT pane, & select "Delete". Let the left pane alone.

        This is a standard registry key. I've got one that looks exactly the same - except for "DownloadUI".

(5.2) If Find Next gets to your search result #4.1 (that shows "LastKey") - leave it totally alone.

        That key will self adjust on its own, as explained earlier.

(6) Find Next gets to...

(6.1) R-Clk ({50F4150A...) in blue in the left pane, & select "Delete".

(7) Find Next for...

(7.1) R-Clk the blue one ({50F4150A...) in the left pane, & select "Delete".

(8) Find Next may get to search result #7. But these are the first keys I think may be a copy/mirror of previous keys. Therefore, they may already be gone.

(8.1) R-Clk each "QQ..." key in turn in the left pane, & select "Delete".

        This rids you of both search result #7 & #8, if they weren't already gone.

(9) Find Next. This one may already be gone too...

(9.1) R-Clk ({50F4150A...) in blue in the left pane, & select "Delete", if there.

(10) Find Next. This too looks like it may already be gone.

(10.1) R-Clk ({50F4150A...) in blue in the left pane, & select "Delete", if there.

(11) Find Next. Looks like another mirror.

(11.1) If there, R-Clk "DownloadUI" in the RIGHT pane, & select "Delete". Leave the left pane alone.

(12) Find Next. This one might show up (haven't seen a counterpart).

(12.1) R-Clk ({50F4150A...) in blue in the left pane, & select "Delete", if there.

          We might investigate what those other BHOs are. Do that many show up in "Manage Add-ons"?

(13) I'm very confident your search results #13, #14, & #15 are already gone. They were...

...as shown at the bottom of the RegEdit screen. If not, you already know what to do. The 1st one is a delete of "DownloadUI" in the RIGHT pane. The other two are deletes of "50F4150A..." in the left pane.

So, "Open IE 11, Tools menu, Manage Add-ons". Is this BHO gone? If not, reboot & look again. My next post will be to rid you of the other.
