Location is greyed out, i cannot remove internet explorer 11 addon after virus removal

I am running Windows 10 64 bit

After removing a virus using windows defender and malwarebytes, I could no longer...

A. remove these internet explorer add ons, to wit:

  1. Ó¦Óñ¦Ò»¼ü°²×°²å¼þ npQQPhoneManagerExt.dll
  2. 电脑管家网页防火墙 TSWebMon64.dat

B. activate Location in Notification since it is always greyed out now

    I cannot remove the two add ons only.... All the rest, I can.

    What is a registry fix? I'm a newbie to this problem. Will it delete the add on and restore the LOCATION button in Action Center?

    Unfortunately I cannot get the infection details since I already deleted it... I didnt know what to do with it... I thought deleting it is the right thing to do at the time. But I can see its like Japanese or Chinese bacause of the characters.... I think its a tencent virus and QQ virus.

    I cannot restore or reset it because ASUS did not give me a cd to reinstall their apps like ASUS USB charger plus, ASUS smart gesture, ASUS live update, etc...

    Add-ons with the inability to remove from Manage Add-ons is a common symptom of an infection or leftover damage from an infection.

    Hijack This! can be used to deal with it, but I don't recommend its use without guidance from malware removal experts from a site such as www.bleepingcomputer.com

    You opened IE 11, clicked the Tools icon or either Tools menu, & selected "Manage add-ons"...?...

    ...And you could not remove those add-ons there? Is the Remove button greyed out for every add-on you've got, or just for those two? If just those two - I'm thinking - perhaps the removal of the virus also maimed IE 11's ability to remove the add-on part of the viruses. I can suggest a registry fix that seems safe enough to try.

    What was the infection?

    Open Defender and go to the History tab.

    Select the detection and view details.

    Name and location of infection and what action taken, please.
