Location is greyed out, i cannot remove internet explorer 11 addon after virus removal

I ran a virus scan again today and Windows Defender is showing no infection but on Malwarebytes it is showing these...

Spooky. But looks like we did get a clue in your prior post - a file is missing! I'll see whether I can locate what files are involved & how you may get them.

That seems to be a false trail, then. I'll look for another registry key that looks especially important connected with {BFA794E4-F964-4FDB-90F6-51056BFE4B44}, but I doubt this is where the problem lies. I'll bet your registry keys for this are just fine.

Now, I've gone through the registry & found other keys of interest, but I think your registry probably is fine with this. Most of them seem to record which apps will have access to one's location: allow, prompt, or deny. There is another Class ID tied to the first, namely "{6129C4B2-9397-4E58-BCD8-CED219D0CD33}"...

...If you have that & this one, I'll be fully satisfied your registry is fine with this...

Get to them directly by clicking the ">" to left of each address portion, & finally click the last portion. I think the problem will be that you have missing files. For a starter, do you have...?...

C:\Windows\System32\LocationPermissions.dll

...& an obvious bunch of others around it...

After putting a check mark on Geolocation in System Configuration, the "Enable All" is greyed out...

and when I click on Apply, it unchecks itself ....
