Windows 10 Photos App - no Outlook Share option??

I am running Windows 10 and importing my photos into the Photos App however when I click on Share the only options that are available are Mail (Windows 10 app) or my Samsung printer, there is no Outlook 2013 option there so I can email it.

Am I missing something obvious?

    Hello,

    I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused. In photos app you won’t be able to share photos directly to Outlook. As work around you can add your Email account to mail app and make as a primary account and then you can share your pictures through the Mail app.

    Dear All,

    I also want use my Outlook 2016 Desktop version to share pictures, files etc. instead of the Windows 10 Mail app.

    There must be a way to add other apps to the Windows.ShareTarget key in the registry (discussed here: How can I unhide a hidden app from the Windows 10 "share list"?)

    Similar to what they have done here with Onenote Desktop and Onenote App...( Making desktop onenote default for windows 10 )

    How to make Windows 10 better and more flexible - there must be some capable experts out there helping us out - please?

    I specifically don't want to use Outlook because the ICloud sync no longer works. I'm happy with Windows 10 mail except that photos email at original size with no option to compress.

    if W10 Photos "Shares" through W10 Mail, were has the compress function gone ?

    Really? Jesus, that makes this program frustrating and redundant - back to good ol' Windows Photo Viewer it seems.

    What an utterly daft decision/restriction. We use Outlook on our company domain and I am NOT setting up my e-mail twice for the sole reason that Windows share 'charm' has no customisation at all.

    This is unbelievable. I changed to Outlook 2016 as part of the Office 365 upgrade. I do not want to use different email clients for different apps. Come on Microsoft - make Windows 10 work properly!
