When using Internet Explorer, I could print a highlighted selection on a page. I cannot find a way to do this in Windows10 Edge.

I agree, this was a ridiculous answer.
I can't express publicly how I really feel about taking this functionality away. But it really sucks.
Another wonderful example of Microsoft removing useful features from their new products, therefore breaking something that didn't need fixing. How can they expect consumers to stick with them when they keep doing this? Then they offer ridiculous, vastly more time consuming workarounds. It seems like an obvious concept for developing new products; keep the things people actually use, and introduce NEW features to make things even easier. However since the Windows 8 disaster, MS seems to be losing the plot a bit. The worst thing is, it must be someone's job to actually approve these decisions. Whoever that guy is, please sack them, because they're destroying the brand.
Edge is already pretty inferior compared to Chrome, Firefox and even Safari, offering less in terms of speed and features whilst managing to consume MORE resources. I actually used to love IE, and never felt the need to use the alternatives - which was a massive trump card to MS as IE was included in the OS. However, unlike MS, these guys continued to improve their products making them better, not worse.
Copy and past and going to IE have been mentioned several times on this 5 page thread. They are all time consuming and IE runs VERY slow on Windows 10 so going there is VERY time consuming.
For a person at work wasting time is losing productivity and not a good thing.
For a person at home who has a life away from the computer screen there are other things that we would rather be doing than working with a program that was written by a programmer who was too lazy to copy and past working code from IE to Edge.
