The classic MSN Money Portfolio Manager will be shut down completely on 22nd December, 2014 - Please act now!

This is a major blow to long time users. The Portfolio Manager works perfectly

while the new Watchlist is no where near as good! You can have so much more features

with it, let alone a single page listing of all your positions etc.

   Please discuss with your team members allowing a subscription fee to maintain MSN Portfolio Manager----Aftr extensive

investingation there is nothing out there to compare with it, including software programs for

fee that is close.

Perhaps, bringing back the software Microsoft Money Plus software program, as thousands still have old programs of it hanging around

PLEASE KEEP EITHER BY FEE, OR A FEATURE MSN PORTFOLIO MANAGER!!

Thank you, Squeezon -- I feel exactly the same way! I have not yet migrated, but I love the MSN Portfolio Manager.  It works perfectly, and I use it to manage all of my investments.  I would very gladly pay even a substantial amount to maintain this "dashboard" for my investing life.

PLEASE, Microsoft -- consider keeping the MSN Port Manager alive -- I'll betcha that Squeezon and I are not the only users who would help support this effort.  Thanks for listening.

The Watchlist "feature" is very frustrating.  I've followed the troubleshooting instructions and finally got my MSN Money information to "migrate".  Problem is it's incomplete and I can even find a phone number or support email address to get help from Microsoft.  Their "links" go in circles.  I have used MSN Money Portfolio for about 15 years so I have a lot of information out there.  I'm afraid that I'm going to have to spend the next couple of days trying to fix what did migrate and try to figure out what's missing.  This has been horrible.

Adriana, I write in the spirit of mutual cooperation and support for Microsoft.  You seem to be a helpful and caring person with the users' best interests at heart.  But with all respect, it seems that you are not in a senior enough position at Microsoft to implement the kind of actions that are required.

     I have just read through hundreds of user posts, and every single one of them was negative about the transition while being very positive about the current Portfolio Manager.  I feel the same way, as I've expressed in an earlier post.

     Here's my request.  PLEASE, PLEASE have a senior member of the Microsoft transition team spend an hour or two reviewing these forum posts.  After he/she has done so, please ask him/her to consider (1) keeping the current PM operational, even if it's for a fee; or, at the very least, (2) delaying the transition date to give current users a chance to work through the very many glitches and bugs that we are discovering. 

     Microsoft could hardly have picked a worse time to force this transition.  Many of us are traveling during this holiday season, and also many of us were counting on using the PM through the end of the year to capture all of our 2014 transactions for tax purposes. 

     I appeal to you and to the Microsoft team:  In the spirit of the holidays, PLEASE take pity on your loyal users, and do (1) or (2) above.  Thanks for listening.

Hello MSN Money Portfolio Manager users,

You may have noticed the alert on the old PM page saying that it will be shut down on Dec 22. We are aware that the page was down for several days and users were unable to access their data but the page has been reinstated and users should be able to access their portfolios again. Users should try to migrate their data to the new MSN Money Portfolio/Watchlist before the above date to avoid losing data. Please follow the steps located under How do I import my old lists?

NOTE: You can only import into a Watchlist that has fewer than 250 items. Attempts to re-import lists with more than 250 items will fail. You may want to shrink the size of your existing Watchlist or import into a newly created Watchlist.

If you recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and did not receive all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data, please follow the steps on this article.

If you do not wish to migrate to the new Money Watchlist/Portfolio, you may export your data into an Excel spreadsheet by clicking on Print Portfolio. A table of the data is displayed, select the table (CTRL+A), copy (CTRL+C) and then paste it (CTRL+V) into Excel.
