I think you were right about my temperatures. I ran a check on Speccy and the were stable well within the limits of the card.

HOWEVER! I think I may well have found the cause of my BSOD's.  A few months ago I watched a tutorial online on how to improve performance of FSX.  This included the download and installation of AMD Catalyst Control Centre.  I did this and performed the tweaks as suggested.  Without my knowledge (I probably missed it during the installation), this program must have also installed a program called Raptr which is an AMD program designed for optimising games/streaming and updating drivers.

Previously, when looking for a fix for BSOD's, I read a post which stated I should uninstall my graphics card, reboot and allow Windows to install the driver it wants for the Graphics Card. I did this and my BSOD's stopped for a few weeks before becoming an issue again.  I believe what was happening was Raptr was running sporadically to update drivers and I must have missed this.  On Tuesday it came to me as a brain wave to uninstall both AMD CCC & Raptr.  I completed a 9 hour session on Wednesday with no BSOD and my simulator actually ran smoother.

I'll do some more testing over the weekend but I am optimistic.  I have included a latest system information file and Event viewer log for your perusal.  The only items outstanding on the event view is something relating to Microsoft Security Essentials and according to internet browsing, is a pain in the backside to rectify.  Similarly with the WUDFRD.sys driver, this is an error with a USB but I'm not sure how to eradicate this problem from my computer.

I can see no problems in the logs that require attention.

You can run your computer without the Catalyst Control Center. Removal has no adverse effect and can be beneficial as it releases resources for other tasks.

Good to know that I don't have to worry about the first error.  WSE seems to be working fine, it runs with no errors and scans so I think I can disregard the other warning too.

HOWEVER! My thoughts that I had fixed the issue have just been thrown out of the window. New BSOD today but this time with a different error.  Please find dump file at the following link for your perusal.

Comparing the latest dump to the previous crash reveal that the following drivers in the last dump are older than those reported earlier:

I would update the drivers.

Updated my drivers as you instructed and we are back to a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION BSOD today. Weirdly, I managed a full day of simming and it was only when I finished and the computer was idle (FSX and 2 support programs were still running), it BSOD. Not during a period of intense computer usage. Was very strange.
