Hearts for Windows 10 - part 2

After reviewing all of the posts to my original message (shown below in italics) about the original Hearts game being deleted from Windows 10, please allow me to make some comments about the current abundant load of "trashy" Hearts games that Microsoft now offers for free and otherwise as "alternatives":

a) The new games are way, way too easy to figure out.  I've played Hearts Deluxe some 86 times and have a 78% win rating.  I have 48 moons in some 350 games. This is ridiculous.  In the original game the most I ever achieved in 10+ years of playing was 68 to 70%.  That was far more challenging. 

b) The new "Free" games are NOT free.  They have ads that are annoying and that take up a lot of screen "real estate". 

c)  The Paid game is worse than the free games as far a challenge goes. 

d)  The programmers of the games do not appear to have a lot of knowledge or abilities regarding the game strategies and nuances.  They may be good programmers, but they are not "Hearts players". 

e) The original game was clean, nicely thought out, well presented, had great graphics, and was fun as well as challenging.

It was not like playing "real" hearts against human opponents, but it still had enough nuances and tricks that made it interesting. 

Why - I still ask - was it pulled?  Where is the game now?  Has it been discarded to some trash heap of technology forever?  Has it been banned for life or to another planet?  What did Microsoft do with it?  Won't they even sell it?

Who is the "genius" that decided to pull the Hearts game from Windows?

This was one of the best features of windows when you needed to take a break from the information overloads.

WHY?

Was it taking up too much software space?

Was it bothering anyone?

Was it as social burden?

Come on guys - we know you were not making money on these type of features and your would rather reap huge rewards from vicious and bloody war and terror games, but not everyone is into that.

Sometime you want to exercise your mind.

Is that a sin?

Will that hurt Microsoft?

    No need for sarcasm, but I will explain how I got there and hope it helps. When I click the windows symbol or start button as it used to be called, it pops up shut down options, app options etc. and a large box with several choices under "life at a glance" and "play and explore"  Under "life at a glance" in the bottom left corner is a box with a picture that changes every few seconds, but at the bottom left of this box in white letters, is the word store. Your windows 10 may be different from mine. The word store is not very noticeable, but it is there on my pop-up. I hope this helps, but if it doesn't, you can always take your frustration out by lashing out and insulting someone who is trying to help.

    Before you go off being offended by my comments, I would suggest that you make sure that you are sure of your own statements.  

    I have visited Microsoft's "store" and it does have a version of "Hearts", but it's the "Random Salad Games LLC" version which is the subject of all the rants against Microsoft for substituting this piece of trash for the original game. 

    The other versions of Hearts are even worse and even though they show as being offered by different developers, they are all the same garbage with blinking ads that take up 70% or more of the screen real estate and will drive you crazy after a half hour of play. (Unless of course you're immune to blinking ads and tiny, tiny fonts in the game itself.)

    They go by different names: Hearts Deluxe HD; Hearts!?; Classic Hearts HD; Hearts Absolute; etc.  

    But they are all the same ****. 

    I guess you were fooled by the different backgrounds and different names assigned to the players, but if you will note the ads are all the same. 

    It's the same piece of trash worked over by the same people with just different names. 

    The one place where one would possibly find the original Hearts game would have been: "Classic Games".  But that section does not have Hearts offered.  It has many of the other games but not hearts. 

    So before you get offended by comments from people who actually do the searches, perhaps you should be sure of what you are being offended about.

    Next time, if you are positive you are right please tell your audience exactly what you found and where. 

    But just for the record, I'm going back to Windows 7 where I have at least a little bit of control over what I get even though I have to pay for it. 

    This free S... from Microsoft is just that: S...

    Obviously some body wanting to just change something. Or-maybe they felt that too many people enjoyed Solitaire and Hearts and it just had to stop. What a bunch of idiots!

    I agree Sir totally! I have a 1200 buck Toshiba Laptop and stupidly upgraded to Windows 10. It trashed the computer. Took to shop and they tried to fix it but it us slightly usable but not the same as before. I truly hate Windows 10.
