Age of Mythology - Windows 10

I recently purchased a custom built pc packed with windows 8.1 which I upgraded to Windows 10.

I installed Age of Mythology yesterday and when I try to run the game nothing happens. I have tried all compatibility suggestions and I get the same result.

I also have this same problem with black and white 2.

I have a NVIDIA Geforce gtx 980 graphics card installed in my pc.

Can you provide any suggestions please.

Thank you.

Did you even read what the issue was and what others have posted? Or did you simply copy and paste a generic script answer.

Microsoft claims this game is compatible, yet it is not.

Here is the error from the windows logs:

    Event ID 7000

The SecDrv service failed to start due to the following error:

This driver has been blocked from loading

This game uses Safedisc - and Safedisc is not supported on Windows 10

Microsoft - please provide a fix for this issue ASAP.

Interesting solution. I am wary about downloading such cracks in case of malware etc. - especially as there are children using the devices.

And why should I have to?

Would be really good for someone from Microsoft to update us on the issue.

Come on Microsoft!, you are keen to get people onto Windows 10, at least help those that have gone along with you and not migrated to another O S.

Unless this is sorted a lot of people will be rolling back or changing O S, your choice of course but can you afford to loose out to Apple, Android, etcetra?.
