I recently purchased a custom built pc packed with windows 8.1 which I upgraded to Windows 10.
I installed Age of Mythology yesterday and when I try to run the game nothing happens. I have tried all compatibility suggestions and I get the same result.
I also have this same problem with black and white 2.
I have a NVIDIA Geforce gtx 980 graphics card installed in my pc.
Can you provide any suggestions please.

It's possible the game installed the driver which would work. If you see secdrv.sys on your system then it could have installed the driver and that is why it is working. Please note this driver has a security flaw. If you do have it, I suggest disabling the service when you are not playing the game.

Well I just tried the way I always load it (from CD) and it worked. Maybe Windows pushed a patch that actually fixed it?
Scratch that... didn't work, never mind.
Microsoft needs to resolve this issue. If games and applications are available for sale--ESPECIALLY ones created BY Microsoft--then support should be present to resolve these issues.
I just bought the game with the expansion because I quite enjoyed it. NOW, because I upgraded to Windows 10 I can no longer play it??
