I recently purchased a custom built pc packed with windows 8.1 which I upgraded to Windows 10.
I installed Age of Mythology yesterday and when I try to run the game nothing happens. I have tried all compatibility suggestions and I get the same result.
I also have this same problem with black and white 2.
I have a NVIDIA Geforce gtx 980 graphics card installed in my pc.
Can you provide any suggestions please.

I'll try the steam uploads as you suggest. Not holding much hope though.
I am aware safedisc is unsupported. I just hoped microsoft would have provided people with a workaround, macromedia had some kind of solution or if someone out there had found a solution they wanted to share.
Try to go into steam and 'add product...' I've done this with a few games. I think this won't work for every game but worth a try. Please note that safedisc is a very old technology and is no longer supported. It's not something we can just make compatible on newer versions of windows since no third party is supporting it. This will apply to any older games using safedisc.
It looks like Microsoft are being their usual unhelpful selves and just want to loose customers.
I have two computers one laptop which is still (for the moment) on Win 10 and a desktop used mainly for gaming, the desktop is already back on Win 7 and now looking into Linux I am getting tired of Microsoft's attitude towards their customers.
And still nothing else from Microsoft ...
I'd just like to know whether anyone will or won't be looking at this for us. Simple.

Do you really think it is fair to advise people to "buy the game again" when they have already bought and paid for it once?, does this apply to all Microsoft games with this same problem?, are Microsoft really expecting that people will just sit back and pay out a second time?, sorry but I for one will be initially rolling back to Windows 7 and then looking at Linux or similar.
