I recently purchased a custom built pc packed with windows 8.1 which I upgraded to Windows 10.

I installed Age of Mythology yesterday and when I try to run the game nothing happens. I have tried all compatibility suggestions and I get the same result.

I also have this same problem with black and white 2.

I have a NVIDIA Geforce gtx 980 graphics card installed in my pc.

Can you provide any suggestions please.

Thank you.

Your shortcut targets "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\aom.exe", this is the path of your exe. The path can be followed by some optional features, in this case you add the option xres=640 after the path, outsite the "", with a space. That gives :

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\aom.exe" xres=640

    Hi Walker,

My target command reads "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\aom.exe"

Do I enter xres=640 right after "exe", so it would read "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\aom.exexres=640"?

Sorry I'm not a computer programmer.....
