"Error 1" when installing "Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework

Hello,

I see a C:\Windows\System32\catroot and wondered if this is about WU as well, sicne you had me rename catroot2 near the start of this thread? 

I am now receving "Error 1" when installing "Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5, 4.5.1 and 4.5.2 on Windows 7, Vista, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 x64 (KB3037581)"

Any ideas?

    When & why was MalwareBytes Anti-Malware (MBAM) installed? Is it MBAM Premium or MBAM Free? Has MBAM ever detected & quarantined anything since it's been installed?

    Do you have backups of ALL the changes registry cleaners (e.g., CCleaner) have EVER made to the computer? [1]

    Looking at the exported Programs list - I see that there are some program that are listed twice - What would cause this?

    HP Magic Canvas

    HP TouchSmart RecipeBox

    Microsoft Visual C++ (2005/2008/2010) Redistributable ... etc (seems some might be listed twice?)

    With CCleaner (www.piriform.com)

    I'll check some websites in a few then see about removing HP Calendar.  I have never used it though.  Not sure why it would be doing an error???
