PC games not in fullscreen in Windows 10

                                                     You finally interested in sorting this out, must be time for the upcoming release to business users - they would not be happy with powerpoint or graphic presentations being sub 7 standard :-) Actually I'm going to play about with Windows 10, if I get bored shooting all the baddies. Set up a dual boot system 800 GB for 7, the Tera is for 10. Not downloaded 10, don't even have the notification as yet, because 7 updates told me exactly which it is :-) That's the main point, the US is vocal on freedom of speech & freedom to bear arms, yet freedom of choice seems to be passing them by. Windows 10 downloaded automatically Xbox app, I don't have or want Xbox let alone the app, it's junk on MY computer. SKYPE was an optional update on 7, probably auto on 10. It's your OS, but it's my computer, I don't want you dumping junk on it anymore than dumping the same in my garden. You just don't seem to get it, if it worked on 7 it doesn't matter how old it is. Windows 10 can't do it, we await Windows 10.1 for PC - not phones - with interest.

I don't play new games, only some from the old time. Yes I just leave the AMD control panel alone and change the screen resolution in game. And it displays as if in a much bigger screen which my monitor is just a part of that "screen". See my screenshots

            This is how it works on Windows 7, system hardware is ;

AMD R9 series GPU with latest driver download.

800 Gb & 1TB sata raid hard drives.

AMD FX8530 8 core CPU.

Dual DVD read / write sata raid drives.

              The software is configured by me depending on what the computer is doing. If watching a film or TV, Windows screen resolution is set to recommended. The GPU is set to HDTV 1080i or 1080p whichever suits the original source best. AMD Catalyst control is set to centre view - fill the panel. If the film is cinemascope then the TV screen is set to cinema, which expands it to full screen.

                When playing an old game, the Windows screen resolution is reduced to 1600 x 900. The GPU is set to basic 1600 x 900. AMD Catalyst is set at centre - fill the panel. I'm viewing this webpage now with those settings, basically large view but missing 3/4 inch each side & 1/2 inch top & bottom. Just played Dead Mans Hand in full screen using the same settings and I mean FULL screen. It would not play if I used HDTV settings, or larger basic settings. I would ( have ) received error messages when trying to start from a setting that is to high. It works with Windows 7 not Windows 10, but like I've said I'm going to download 10 again & mess about with it all, I do like playing games :-)

                Win 10 is really awesome for kids it looks so fancy, but in reality win 7 is for one who really want to work,

or play games or want to do any thing productive. you should not ask us which game is having problem, you should ask which games are working fine. And is there is problem with our older versions of games what you are saying then what dose your compatibility mode dose, is it just another of your useless thing.

You are dead on, it's junk for PC Windows 7 users. It's not only built mainly for tablet & phone, it downloads without permission all of their **** onto your PC hard drive. Try removing, even as administrator, it will tell you " YOU NEED PERMISSION FROM TRUSTED INSTALLER ", I don't ask permission from anyone to eject them from MY property. Microsoft, **** ups galore, this time they've gone to far.
