PC games not in fullscreen in Windows 10

I nned help with PC Games not in fullscreen when the resolution is on 1024x768 and the Intel Control Panel does not give me an option to switch to full screen when in 1920x1080 resolution and switching the screen resolution to lower and set to scale fullscreen, launch the game and still not in full screen.

    Finally found out what went wrong. Here is the correct way:

    Right click on desktop and then click Display Settings

    Click Advanced Display Settings

    Under Related Settings   -   Click Display Adapter Properties

    Under the heading Adapter click List All Modes      Select 1440 by 900   true color  32 bit  75 Hertz

    Then click apply. This will make everything on your screen bigger but you can switch it back after you get finished with your games. Really hopes this helps someone. A tech was about to charge 125.00 for something I figured out on my own.

    Ok now it works. And its cumbersome and I don't see why MS doesn't want to solve this once and for all.

    Touhou games run fullscreen if Win 10 is set to Tablet mode, and the Task Bar to Auto hide. When starting, the Task Bar covers part of the game. Hit the Windows icon once, the game is pushed into background. Hit the icon for the running game on the task bar and it restores to full screen.

    Native resolution 1360x766.

    Microsoft, what the **** are you doing? Compatibility with old stuff is your selling point! You are ignoring your installed base!

    How many people have changed OS just because compatibility is no longer assured?!

    Bloody ****, it's hurting to see MS losing out like that. Starting things and abandoning them, breaking stuff that people got used to, ever since win7. ****! Are you crazy guys?!?

    Hello as I understand it its Windows 10 will not allow the display resolution to be changed to allow the graphics card to scale to full screen. As in Windows 8 and 8.1 that change was allowed. Its up to Microsoft to allow that and so far I no update for any graphics card has been released
