PC games not in fullscreen in Windows 10

I nned help with PC Games not in fullscreen when the resolution is on 1024x768 and the Intel Control Panel does not give me an option to switch to full screen when in 1920x1080 resolution and switching the screen resolution to lower and set to scale fullscreen, launch the game and still not in full screen.

    I tried that, but it didn't worked on me.

    Have you tried changing different values other than 3? And i had wddm 1.1 driver as graphic driver, maybe it doesn;t work for other chipset drivers.

    Guys, i found the solution and i guess it works for everyone. I solved it on my sony vaio laptop with 965 chipset. Found this trick from a random site.

    Open regedit, go to "hkey_local_machine->system->currentcontrolset001->control->graphicsdrivers->configuration. You will see many entries in it, expand each categoy and look for scaling entry. Change value to hexadecimal 3 (2-center image, 3-full screen scaling, 4- maintain aspect ratio) for all those categories. 

    Close it, open any game and voila :) 

    PS: My chipset is old and don't have any drivers for 10, i got it from windows update. Cheers.

    I as well have the same problem with some new games as well  (aveyond4 and others)all 2013+

    they work only in windowed screen and using alt+tab helped viewing the game in windowed screen..

    still I have kept patient and upgraded win10 to the latest update (1511 x-64) to no use..

    I hope they fix the problem quickly and not to have to reinstall win7..
