PC games not in fullscreen in Windows 10

I nned help with PC Games not in fullscreen when the resolution is on 1024x768 and the Intel Control Panel does not give me an option to switch to full screen when in 1920x1080 resolution and switching the screen resolution to lower and set to scale fullscreen, launch the game and still not in full screen.

    Some games work some crash. Thank you very much.

    I change the size of text, apps and other items to 100%. But it would be a problem for my 60 year old mum. Hope that Microsoft will fix this soon

    What I recognized is, that it has to do with the DPI Scaling. So I found a workaround for that problem. Maybe it will help you guys as well. Go to desktop rightclick and choose display appearance in the context menu. Set the Slider for the UI Scale to 100% and confirm. Now every fullscreen game should run fullscreen in any resolution like a charm.

    EDIT: Also, I couldnt solve the problems just to set compatibility to "Ignore High DPI Scaling" for the specific app. I need to set the DPI Scaling global Setting to 100% to get it to work.

    I wished Microsoft had an option to select the scale of the windows UI without tryng to scale up all the apps and programs. Really annoying for me. No good experience at all. Theres a need for more settings.

    I am having  this problem on windows 10 too . On windows 7 , 8 I just opened intel control center and go to display and set my resolution to 1024x768 and selected scale to full screen than hit apply . After that I just change to my native resolution 1366x768 and could play games like cs go , cod and all other games in low resolution but in full screen without black bars . I cant find the fix for windows 10 . The only alternative for me is to play on 1024x768 resolution on game than when I am done playing I switch back to normal but is very annyoing . Please microsoft consider this as a serious problem for next updates . This happens on all graphic cards not just intel . Thank you and sorry for my bad english

    You are dead on, it's junk for PC Windows 7 users. It's not only built mainly for tablet & phone, it downloads without permission all of their **** onto your PC hard drive. Try removing, even as administrator, it will tell you " YOU NEED PERMISSION FROM TRUSTED INSTALLER ", I don't ask permission from anyone to eject them from MY property. Microsoft, **** ups galore, this time they've gone to far.
