Windows update KB3004394 issues

Windows update KB3004394  causes the following issues on my Windows 7 x64 Ultimate system:

All MMC functions (Event Viewer, etc.) now require Administrator action, although in an Administrator account.

Windows Defender service will not start

The Windows Defender Service Terminated with the following error

%%-2147023113

Removing it  returns the system to normal.

Anyone else experience this?

    Installing  KB3024777 does remove KB3004394. Also KB3024777 is not listed as an installed update so apart from the entries in the View Update History list the botched update passes into oblivion.

    We have released KB3024777 to address issues that some customers were having with KB3004394. Customers who have Windows Updates enabled do not need to take any action. Customers who have disabled automatic updates will need to uninstall KB3004394 manually by following the guidance in KB3004394.

    This statement is incorrect, because if one has Windows Updates enabled KB3004394 prevents internet access.

    For this reason I have restored the system to before the update, and disabled live updates until this issue is resolved.

    oh?! really?? the ONLY thing in my update history now is KB3024777. nothing else is there any more. and ii clearly had KB3004394 auto installed as I experienced many of the issues people have complained about. view installed updates list still populates with only about 363 installed updates, dating from current date back thru initial install.

    I sure would like my update history back. any ideas???

    That's not a proper answer to my problem :(

    Your update messed up my win7 good. Now I'm trying to restore it somehow.

    Would you please do something that actually helps people here to fix the situation you (microsoft)

    have caused (I have still corrupted system files, UAC control is not what it is suppose to be, trouble installing drivers, all operations have been slow after "update").

    Would it be too hard to test "updates" before you launch them to public?
