Windows update KB3004394 issues

I'm having issues with KB3004394 :(

This is not the first time microsoft has released an update that messes win quite effectively.

First I noticed that my browsers did not connect to a site after I clicked "try again" multiple time.

Then I noticed a big slowdown in hd actions and program startup times.

Graphic bugs etc. etc.

I tried uninstalling KB3004394 with no success, and yes I did download KB3024777 and have run it several times as admin, nothing happens and KB3004394 does not disappear. Also KB3004394 shows on update history tab but not on installed updates tab. Why is this?

Could you (Microsoft) do something about this (corrupted system files and so on...)?

I honestly don't think it's removed KB3004394 as all KB3024777 does is remove 3004394 it doesn't do anything new.

I would look in the installed updates section and see if 3004394 is listed.

well KB3004394 may not have caused any issues for me, but KB3024777 did.

among issues I have found so far which did not exist yesterday, before kb3024777 was installed.

attempting to run chkdsk from an admin command prompt causes this error:

Access Denied as you do not have sufficient privileges.

You have to invoke this utility running in elevated mode.

My SD card slot no longer functions.

these errors is showing up in the eventlog:

A problem has occurred with one or more user-mode drivers and the hosting process has been terminated. This may temporarily interrupt your ability to access the devices.

The device Y:\ (location (unknown)) is offline due to a user-mode driver crash. Windows will attempt to restart the device 5 more times. Please contact the device manufacturer for more information about this problem

EA Origin based games no long open. the launchers sometimes open and the game may get loaded into memory, but the game never opens. end tasking the game also fails.

I must be the only one who hasn't had any issues with this update, since M$ pulled it by issuing KB3024777 which uninstalls KB3004394. it wasn't really nesseccary for windows d/l and install the update uninstaller, but whatever.

I did not have the problem you've reported after installing KB3004394 but I did experience Windows Defender disability and Onscreen Keyboard disability after installing upgrades KB2952664, KB3006121, and KB3006625. I don't know which one of these upgrades caused my problems because when I first discovered them, I uninstalled all upgrades included in that of 12/9/14 which included 11 individual upgrades, and then reinstalled each one manually one-by-one while rebooting and checking for the presence of the problems after each one. This was a time consuming process and frankly, after reading the purpose of each of the problem upgrades I've listed here, I didn't bother repeating the manual process for these three. I contacted Microsoft chat when I first noticed the disabilities and the rep had me complete the command prompt and msconfig.exe scan but to no avail. So, I guess this reply doesn't help your situation but maybe someone else who reads this may gain some insight.
