Windows update KB3004394 issues

I have an additional issue with KB3004394.  It shows that it was successfully installed but does not show in the "Installed Updates" window so that I can uninstall it.  Does anyone have a clue how to uninstall it another way?  Thanks in advance.

I think so. You are not alone, mate!

I have the same error when I shutdown my computer. It stands a few seconds until the OS kills it and go to close session and shutting down pages.

It has become since the last update KB3024777. The rest of the OS seems work fine.

I certainly appreciate your efforts on behalf of all of us and your sharing of your thoughts on this MESS.

Now more on my situation:

machine i first encountered, and reported here, this issue on is the most used, daily. only thing in the view history list right now is KB2830477. I did NOT attempt any fixing of anything ie update reset tool.

under installed updates there are KB2830477 and KB2867650 installed 12/13/14. following are updates from 12/10/14, which is when KB3004394 was installed. KB3004394 was listed under installed updates this morning as well as under view history. i review history every time updates are installed and it as ok after 10/12/14 updates.

I personally sat and watched KB3024777 install and do its thing. machine working fine now, i think.

another machine, which runs almost as much as above machine, has history only dating back to 10/15/14. KB3024777 is listed under history but not under installed updates. KB3004394 is nowhere to be found

in these lists.

on a third machine, which runs less frequently, 3004394 had been installed. 3024777 failed to install 3 times and successfully installed 1 time. history file is complete.

on a fourth machine , which slept thru this whole nightmare until i fired it up today, checked for and installed updates.. no sign of either 3004394(which was pulled) or 3024777. history file is complete.

I certainly would like to contact microsoft directly and this inexcusable disaster. But i would like to know where to really apply some pressure. 

windows 10 also suffers from some equally inexcusable messes, even considering it is beta.

yes uninstalling KB3004394 worked for me as well.  Way to go Microsoft always providing food for my family!!
