Windows update KB3004394 issues

Anyone have cmd.exe error 0xc0000142 during shutdownafter the update on 13 Dec?

I have this problem and found that many others having the same problems too.

I think it is related to the window updates again!!!!!!!!!

I'm having the same issue and searching for it on internet, i found that maybe it has something with the GeForce Experience client, program which i use too, and the recent updates  KB3004394 and KB3024777

Uninstalling it or forcing to exit the client just before shutting down the OS, seems to solve the problem and no error message is showed.

Microsoft has stated that it needs to be removed.

Where? I quoted the three scenarios from the KB article:

1. If you have not yet deployed KB 3004394 on Windows 7 SP1-based and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1-based computers, we recommend that you delay installation until a new version of this update becomes available.
2. If you have already installed KB 3004394 on Windows 7 SP1-based and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1-based computers that were not restarted after the update was installed, we recommend that you delay the restart ... until more information is added to this article ...
3. If the installation of KB 3004394 is causing problems on these computers, remove the update, ...

It doesn't say that if you have already installed the update and restarted and it's not causing problems that it should be removed. Because this bunch of updates included a CSU for IE, I rebooted twice after installing all ten Windows updates successfully. Four subsequent updates (definitions for MSE) have been successfully installed since then. Can you explain why I shouldn't just accept this situation and wait for the new version to be released?

You really need to uninstall this from a Windows 7 machine.

It is mandatorily checked for a reason. 

Issue for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 We have found that this update is causing additional problem on computers that are running Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. This includes the inability to install future updates.

The KB 3004394 update does not cause any known problems on the other systems for which it is released. We recommend that you install the update on the other systems.

An update is available to remove KB 3004394 from Windows 7 SP1-based and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1-based computers. For more information, see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

3024777 You cannot install Windows updates after KB 3004394 is installed on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

If KB3024777 has properly removed KB3004394 neither one will be shown in the list of installed updates, but will be shown in update history.  This is because 3024777 is merely an uninstaller, it doesn't do anything but uninstall the update.

Uninstalling these updates isn't kicking WGA, the update is causing WGA failures in some - but not all - installs.  I think it's more OEMs that are impacted.
