My site was working fine until I receive this update on my machine.  When I fetch 4000 records (HTML table) from server and assign that to innerHTML propery of span object then machine freezes forever.   The moment I uninstall the patch, I get result in 3 seconds.

Now the problem is that I cant ask clients to un-install this patch at their end specially when there are so many end users.

please fix this issue

We are also facing this issue after installation of KB3038314...

You will find appropriate support in the TechNet and/or MSDN forums.

We are also facing this issue after installation of KB3038314. It had been working smoothly earlier on, and after the installation of this patch, rendering of a large HTML table by replacing innerHtml element drastically slows down. Uninstall the patch and things become normal as earlier once again.

My benchmarks on one of the older machines running IE8 shows that replacing an innerHtml element to render a table with 10000 rows took around 500ms without this patch and it's now taking around 80 seconds. We have tested it with IE8, IE9, IE10 and IE11, and it's producing across the board in all versions.

There are also multiple comments from people facing this issue on IEBlog: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ie/archive/2015/04/14/april-2015-security-updates-for-internet-explorer.aspx but no replies from IEBlog itself.

I don't think it's a developer or coding issue because this is perfectly legal code. The fact that it was working fine before this patch, as well as, it's working fine with other browsers, is a further supporting point that this is not a coding issue.

Thus, this would appear to be a bug to me, introduced with this IE update, that slows down the rendering performance to the point of making it near unusable. It has also been reported here: https://connect.microsoft.com/IE/Feedback/Details/1271727 although there have been no replies from Microsoft so far.

    Regards,

    Shoaib.

Again, you should be posting **here** or here instead.

Chances are your site's coding is incompatible with KB3038314, not the other way around.
