My old games- spider solitaire, freecell, and mohjong titans.

Hello,

I upgraded from 7 to 10 and now I am missing my games file that had the old games such as spider solitaire, freecell, and mohjong titans.  Is there anyway to get them back other than what is in the app store?

From what I saw on the app store there are around 138 versions of Mohjong Titans, some with low ratings, some with high ratings.  I tried a couple different ones and found them to be covered with advertisements.  I would also like to play without having to be online all the time.

I would appreciate a note of how to get my regular games back on- or on how I can send Microsoft a note of disappointment.

    Shenan,

    You obviously don't know what you're talking about.  If one has already "upgraded" to Windows 10, the games are no longer on the computer.  You can't copy something that isn't there.  Most people did not know they would be taken away by Microsoft.  And this question is about photos, not games.

    Shenan wasn't responding to your off-topic post.  You should post in the appropriate forum.  FWIW, he obviously wasn't suggesting copying the programs from within Windows 10.  Anyone whose Google isn't irreparably broken can find ways of getting them and installing them in 10.

    Your answer is a non-answer. If Microsoft took them out, they can put them back!

    But the chances of Microsoft doing so, having removed them starting with Windows 8, are practically nonexistent.

    ET, I was almost ready to scold you for your response Shenan's post.  Then I read it.  Meow-ch.

    SOME of us like the old games...a lot.  I searched the Internet to try to find replacements that I could buy.  They are the same low-quality ones that Microsoft offered with Windows 10.  They are difficult to see and are very slow.

    I am very happy to be back to Windows 7 for a variety of reasons, not just the games.  The negative reviews of this new operating system are predominantly negative.  It's just new; not better.

    Susan,

    I just went through the reversion process and it worked just fine.  The popup window that encourages you to install Windows 10 after you just uninstalled it and reverted to Windows 7 can be removed by pressing "Cancel reservation" and then restart your computer.  At least I think it works.  I only rebooted once, so we'll see.  But I have my 7 back...AND my GAMES!

    Not so Jim whomever.  Average users would have no idea of how to find the original games nor the files required to reinstall them.
