My old games- spider solitaire, freecell, and mohjong titans.

Hello,

I upgraded from 7 to 10 and now I am missing my games file that had the old games such as spider solitaire, freecell, and mohjong titans.  Is there anyway to get them back other than what is in the app store?

From what I saw on the app store there are around 138 versions of Mohjong Titans, some with low ratings, some with high ratings.  I tried a couple different ones and found them to be covered with advertisements.  I would also like to play without having to be online all the time.

I would appreciate a note of how to get my regular games back on- or on how I can send Microsoft a note of disappointment.

    Are you saying what we want doesn't make a difference to Microsoft?

    I don't speak for Mr. Stanley, of course, but I think you will agree that it would be impossible for Microsoft to accede to the wishes of everyone who dislikes  a given feature or omission in a new Windows version. A relatively small group of users in a population of over 100,000,000 isn't likely to exert the influence necessary to change a decision made more than three years ago.

    I'm presenting the reality of the current and past three years: the games wanted in this conversation were not put in Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 in all that time.  You could put them in yourself, but they were not supported by Microaoft beyond the Windows Vista/7 platform they were released with.

    I cannot speak for Microsoft - I really don't care either way.y

    If I was to choose any point of view that I have that might side-line reference this - it would be that we would all benefit from an OS developer who concentrated on making an OS leaner, faster, more efficient and secure as opposed to putting said effort into integrating unnecessary extras like paint, wordpad and the likes in from the start.  The operating system is the base upon which everything else works in terms of software - while I understand the need for some basic functionality (such a a text editor, etc.) when it comes to distributing an OS, it often seems more time and concern goes into the overblown extras than the stability, efficiency and security of the part that allows said extras to function at all.

    I perfectly well understand that the extras are what sells it to many people, but it probably would have been wiser to have split that off with a partner (outsourced) so that although the extras come as installable options, they are kept up by someone whose central concern are those things - and not the writing and maintenance of the underlying operating system.

    I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7.   When I found that Microsoft Mahjong Titans was not available in Windows 10 and I could not even purchase it for Windows 10, I restored Windows 7.   I will not install Windows 10 again until I can get Titans either Free or Paid for.

    Why did Microsoft made something that was great and worked well and reinvented the wheel.  WHY???? It was not broken, why eliminate it?

    Consider this to be a protest and  revolution.
