My old games- spider solitaire, freecell, and mohjong titans.

Hello,

I upgraded from 7 to 10 and now I am missing my games file that had the old games such as spider solitaire, freecell, and mohjong titans.  Is there anyway to get them back other than what is in the app store?

From what I saw on the app store there are around 138 versions of Mohjong Titans, some with low ratings, some with high ratings.  I tried a couple different ones and found them to be covered with advertisements.  I would also like to play without having to be online all the time.

I would appreciate a note of how to get my regular games back on- or on how I can send Microsoft a note of disappointment.

Thank you.

I agree with you!  I can't find my games--like 10 decided to eat them up.  Don't care I am using the items.  10 said nothing about taking my programs and forcing me to use and sign into use games I don't like.  I can't believe the audacity of Microsoft trying to own all of everything.  I guess I will peal back to my 7.  I was happy with it.  My sister acted like I should do this.

Never will I fall for this freebie again!  They don't tell you anything unless it was in the super fine print!

You upgraded without knowing what was going to happen (and it is easier to find than this conversation even.)

The games were not removed, they just are not a part of Windows 8/8.1 or 10 (so they were removed from current Microsoft Operating Systems over three years ago.). When you changed OSes from Windows 7 to Windows 10 - your installed programs and your documents that you created stayed... Things that came with (installed with) the older OS but are not a part of the current OS juat don't exist.

If the games are your concern, follow the instructions linked to elsewhere in this conversation and those like it or even the downloads that allow you to not have to do the actual work and get the same result.

Of course, I am still of the opinion that if THAT is the deciding factor for someone - they probably didn't ever need an x86-based computer/OS anyway.
