My old games- spider solitaire, freecell, and mohjong titans.

Hello,

I upgraded from 7 to 10 and now I am missing my games file that had the old games such as spider solitaire, freecell, and mohjong titans.  Is there anyway to get them back other than what is in the app store?

From what I saw on the app store there are around 138 versions of Mohjong Titans, some with low ratings, some with high ratings.  I tried a couple different ones and found them to be covered with advertisements.  I would also like to play without having to be online all the time.

I would appreciate a note of how to get my regular games back on- or on how I can send Microsoft a note of disappointment.

Thank you.

Are you saying what we want doesn't make a difference to Microsoft?

I don't speak for Mr. Stanley, of course, but I think you will agree that it would be impossible for Microsoft to accede to the wishes of everyone who dislikes  a given feature or omission in a new Windows version. A relatively small group of users in a population of over 100,000,000 isn't likely to exert the influence necessary to change a decision made more than three years ago.

You mean you do not like what Microsoft did to Freecell.  ;-)

You can read the rest of the conversation to get your Windows Vista/7 games back yourself OR you can revert to your previous OS and continue using it.  Given it has been a few years since the current Windows OS contained the games you are referring to and they have not been added despite complaint conversations like this - the odds are they are NOT making a comeback.

I don't like what you did to free cell. It is NOT the same and I am seriously thinking about removing windows 10. It also has cost me a lot of money due to the time it took on line to download it.

I thought after it was downloaded the drain on my $$ would quit but it has not. Put the older windows 7

    games back on.

    Actually Sheldon, you are incorrect.

    https://mvp.microsoft.com/en-us/faq#20130220163750

"Q10: Are Microsoft employees eligible to become MVPs?

A10: No, Microsoft employees cannot become MVPs"

Perusing the web does not make for an accurate count of anything - as you could do that for a variety of topics and find thousands/millions of hits and that is not necessarily indicative of support of the topic.  ;-)

I would suggest that perhaps your system needs updated device drivers specific to Windows 10 from the hardware manufacturers *if* they have chosen to support their products you have with said OS.  If they have not - you are likely better off returning to an OS that is supported by those who manufactured your hardware and software completely.
