My old games- spider solitaire, freecell, and mohjong titans.

Hello,

I upgraded from 7 to 10 and now I am missing my games file that had the old games such as spider solitaire, freecell, and mohjong titans.  Is there anyway to get them back other than what is in the app store?

From what I saw on the app store there are around 138 versions of Mohjong Titans, some with low ratings, some with high ratings.  I tried a couple different ones and found them to be covered with advertisements.  I would also like to play without having to be online all the time.

I would appreciate a note of how to get my regular games back on- or on how I can send Microsoft a note of disappointment.

Thank you.

I have located my Free Cell game and it won't open even when I tell it to use Windows 7 compatibility. Is there any way I can use this game in Windows 10???

    MzLaurieP,

What are the issues you have with Windows 10?

You mentioned a lot about a specific game that was included in Windows 7, but nothing about the operating system itself . . .  Is it the redesigned (but back if you were in Windows 8/8.1) Start Button menu?  Was it the start of the move from "Control Panel" to the "Settings" areas?  Did/do you have trouble with some older software/hardware being compatible with Windows 10?

Windows 10, itself, costs nothing if you upgrade from Windows 7 w/SP1 or Windows 8.1 w/Update 1.

What features of the actual operating system are you having issues with?

Also - what operating system are you coming from?

I could assume Windows 7 (per your game complaint) - but you could have used one of the many work arounds out there to get the Windows 7 games to work in Windows 8.1 and that just got broken (although the procedure to do it again would be the same) during your upgrade to Windows 10.

Look in the Windows Store for Microsoft Solitaire Collection.   Free Cell is there, and it's free, and play is unlimited. There are ads.

I am upset with windows as well. I hate  windows 10!!!!!!!  I enjoyed playing my FreeCell just the way it was. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. Now I can't play FreeCell at ALL and listen to my music. Instead, they want me to play FreeCell with an ugly board and a timer. Who does that???!?!?!?! A timer!?!?!? . Isn't it enough that I am already paying for my internet? No, not for windows. Now its "pay to play" like a pimp! They want me to pay to enjoy a game ????? REALLY Windows!?!?!?! I am so disappointed with this so called "upgrade". Now I understand why they call it an "upgrade". The "upgrade" is to "upgrade" their pockets with my cash. "Upgrade" them from a boat to a yacht, from a house to a mansion, from a walk on the beach to owning the beach. Well I can't afford you Windows. No thank you!!! I am so disgusted with Windows!

Not like the contracted helpdesk employees could do anything else but tell you the facts of the current situation that actually started three years ago with the release of Windows 8...
