Can't send email, keep getting server error 3219, Windows Live Mail error 0x8DE00005

I just recently started getting this error when using Live Mail synced with my hotmail account

Server Error: 3219

Server: http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync\_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00005

Looked for solutions online and tried most of the suggestions, but most are several years old and no longer apply since the switch to Outlook.

Server Error: 3219

Server: http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync\_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00005

The error codes indicate that this Outlook.com account has been upgraded to the new version. Please sign into the account at http://mail.live.com; you should see something like the Outlook Mail banner shown here in the top left-hand corner of the window:

This means that you can't use DeltaSync to access this account any more, because Outlook Mail is not provisioned for it. You'll find step-by-step instructions for setting up the account to use IMAP instead on this page:

Windows Live Mail and Outlook Mail

If you sign in in Windows Live Mail with this account, you'll find that the calendar will no longer synchronize.

    Hi SP

And what's about calendar and contacts?

Why is there no Tool to switch an existing account from DeltaSync to IMAP? I guess, this should change some regisrty keys...

And neither IMPA, nor  POP3 or SMTP are allowed in our company firewas, as http with DeltaSync...

I already moved account to IMAP, everything was fine and now I get this for one message I'm trying to send. The other messages I'm sending don't cause any issue. I tried resending, moving back to draft, deleting from the outbox before resending... It's all the same.

Eventually my ugly workaround has been to move the troublesome message on another account, simply send it to my live account and forward it from there. It worked. I could not simply cut and paste the message for it had a number of url links in it.
