I just recently started getting this error when using Live Mail synced with my hotmail account

Server Error: 3219

Server: http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync\_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00005

Looked for solutions online and tried most of the suggestions, but most are several years old and no longer apply since the switch to Outlook.

Server Error: 3219

Server: http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync\_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00005

The error codes indicate that this Outlook.com account has been upgraded to the new version. Please sign into the account at http://mail.live.com; you should see something like the Outlook Mail banner shown here in the top left-hand corner of the window:

This means that you can't use DeltaSync to access this account any more, because Outlook Mail is not provisioned for it. You'll find step-by-step instructions for setting up the account to use IMAP instead on this page:

Windows Live Mail and Outlook Mail

If you sign in in Windows Live Mail with this account, you'll find that the calendar will no longer synchronize.

Been tearing my hair out last few days following so-called fixes for this 3219 problem but nothing has worked.

Running win7 pro.  Have cancelled two of my previously ok hotmail addresses which ceased to work and created a new address in an attempt to bypass this problem.  Other two original hotmail addresses continue to work with no problem. New address now sits there saying Microsoft is trying to sync and to wait a few minutes.  Nothing ever happens.

Can someone explain in plain English why of the four original hotmail email addresses two ceased working and two continue to operate, and how the **** do I create a new address that will actually work ?  Have been the "create an email address" at the outlook.com site and this appeared to go ok but will not sync.

Why the **** can't they leave things alone ........ " if it ain't broke don't fix it" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
