Can't send email, keep getting server error 3219, Windows Live Mail error 0x8DE00005

I just recently started getting this error when using Live Mail synced with my hotmail account

Server Error: 3219

Server: http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync\_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00005

Looked for solutions online and tried most of the suggestions, but most are several years old and no longer apply since the switch to Outlook.

Server: http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync\_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00005

The error codes indicate that this Outlook.com account has been upgraded to the new version. Please sign into the account at http://mail.live.com; you should see something like the Outlook Mail banner shown here in the top left-hand corner of the window:

This means that you can't use DeltaSync to access this account any more, because Outlook Mail is not provisioned for it. You'll find step-by-step instructions for setting up the account to use IMAP instead on this page:

If you sign in in Windows Live Mail with this account, you'll find that the calendar will no longer synchronize.

    Please check out my post dated 2016/8/13. I just upgraded Windows 8.1 to 10, aan error occurred on one of my hotmail accounts (newer one)  when getting email via WLM 2012. I changed the server to getting/sending emails via IMAP. The details on my post few days ago.  My user name cflam0625.

    J'ai bien compris que MICROSOFT veut nous imposer OUTLOOK.

    pour ma part j'ai abandonné WML et pris un   logiciel dans une autre compagnie que MICROSOFT.

    I have chose a another software than microsoft's.

    You will only see this error if you try and use a DeltaSync account. You are probably not selecting the new IMAP account in the message compose window:

    why microsoft don't simply repare the serveur ?

    These are new servers, and this is the way they work. They don't support DeltaSync any more.
