Can't send email, keep getting server error 3219, Windows Live Mail error 0x8DE00005

To send a file or picture from my desktop.. I have to upload it to my other email address the mail it back to my Outlook email!

I think MSN should stop worrying about their Hillary and start fixing this sh't.

By the way.. WHAT PART OF-"I DON'T WANT WINDOWS 10 " Do they not understand?

I just recently started getting this error when using Live Mail synced with my hotmail account

Server Error: 3219

Server: http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync\_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00005

Looked for solutions online and tried most of the suggestions, but most are several years old and no longer apply since the switch to Outlook.

I just upgraded my computer from windows 8.1 to 10, later on the WLM 2010 can't get the email from one of my hotmail accounts. I changed the server to IMAP then it works again. Here is the solution:

1. Remove the existing hotmail account from your Windows Live Mail 
2. Add back your hotmail account but use Manually configuration
3. Select IMAP as incoming mail server, 

IMAP server address: imap-mail.outlook.com

Incoming port with SSL (secure) 993

SMTP server address smtp-mail.outlook.com

Outgoing port (with or without SSL) 587

Outgoing mail service": Check the box "My server requires authentication"

4. After the setup is complete, download all your folders and emails. Hope this help.

9/18/2016 having the same problem, can't send or receive, I have missed about 2 weeks of email that I need to see, tried using a different account but did not receive any earlier mail which I know is out there, has there been a fix on this issue yet.   error code 3219 I d 0X8DE00005.

I am not running win10.

Have tried this fix several times - no go.

No-one has yet explained to me why out of the 4 hotmail addresses I have had for years, that 2 suddenly cease operating yet the other 2 operate normally.  Keep receiving advice re MS upgrading (read stuffing up) system that has worked with no problems for years, however no-one has yet explained why 2 continue to work and 2 do not.
