this is the same problem with my surface pro
Video controls are small - How to resize?
I just got a new computer and every video I've watched the video controls (play button, video timeline, expand, etc) are all very small, on every website and on different video players. The video player size is fine, just not the controls. I've tried changing the resolution, it just changes the screen size, doesn't work. IE video controls seem to ok, but Firefox is where the issue is.
Laptop is a HP Envy 14 sleekbook.

2018-01-31T20:29:22+00:00 Good luck. Microsoft does not seem willing to accept that there is a widespread problem with many programs control buttons being too small when using newer computers including Microsoft computers and Microsoft programs.

Can we at least get a reply from a different MS representative?

2018-03-25T08:10:37+00:00 Jacob Taylor showed me how to fix the buttons and controls being too small in vlc for my surface 4, this also works for others programs that are just sized wrong on the surface or other devices in Windows 10.
1.Click the Start Window
2.Type the program you want in search
3.Right Click
4.Open File Location(in vlc this may be under a submenu)
5.Right Click
6.Properties
7.Compatibility
- place a check beside Overide high DPI
9.may need to down arrow System
10.Apply
11.Restart your program
