Video controls are small - How to resize?

I just got a new computer and every video I've watched the video controls (play button, video timeline, expand, etc) are all very small, on every website and on different video players. The video player size is fine, just not the controls. I've tried changing the resolution, it just changes the screen size, doesn't work. IE video controls seem to ok, but Firefox is where the issue is.

Laptop is a HP Envy 14 sleekbook.

    Okay,  I don't know about you all but I had enough. I spent way too much in my surface 4 pro to just sit here and complain. Let's use social media to our advantage. Just once voice may go u heard so let's all raise this issue on their twitter page.  I will be doing it later today. You guys need to do something as this is getting very irritating. 

    lol I've had enough many-a-month ago, and the fact that MS still hasn't done anything, nor even offering another solution, nor even giving notice to this problem. I've suggested this as well I believe in the previous page, there you can find their facebook, and twitter, but still haven't found a phone number/email. I've personally tweeted but no to avail.

    It did not work for me. It denies me access to replace the already existing vlc.exe.manifest file with the new one.

    You'll need administrative rights to overwrite the existing file, and vlc should not be open when you do it.

    Thanks for the answer, haven't tried it as I don't mess around in the regedit just for this, plus it doesn't solve the issue for all programs.

    I have contacted MS social media profiles and they've told me to use the Windows Feedback App in the app store to suggest fixes, etc, I haven't tried it yet but others should try it out so we can this issue out there.
