Video controls are small - How to resize?

Actually, it's regular programs too, forgot them I guess, like bing desktop, it's definitely smaller than on my old laptop, and media programs like vlc player, windows media player controls are all very small. So I think it is now a windows issue as it's affecting  programs and windows programs.

3. Do you have any toolbar or any third party registry cleaner utility installed on the computer?

Problem has started since I bought and started this computer. Other than making a new task which goes to the desktop instead of the start menu on startup and login, changing the login from a microsoft account to a local account, and installing Firefox, norton, and vlc media player, no I haven't made any specific changes that would cause this. Don't have any toolbar or third party registry cleaners, just norton, but the problem was before I installed norton and norton hasn't caused any further problems since installation. Hope you can see what it actually looks like size wise as screenshots might not do the actual size justice, try comparing your programs to these.

Thank you for the screenshot and update on the issue.

Try creating a new user account and check if the interface remains the same.

You can follow the steps below and create a new user account.

STEP 1: Switch to Local User Account

1. Press “Windows key +W”.
2. Type “users” without quotes in the search box.
3. Then select “Users” from the left panel.
4. You will get an option “Switch to a Local account” right below your user account name.
5. Select “Switch to a local account” option.
6. Enter the required details.
7. Then login to the local account.

NOTE: Remember your Microsoft Account Password.

STEP 2: Create a NEW Microsoft Account with your PRIMARY e-mail

1. Press “Windows key +C”.
2. Click on Settings and then click on Change PC settings at the bottom of the Right panel.
3. Click on Users listed on the left.
4. Click Add a User under Other Users.
5. Type your PRIMARY Microsoft Account e-mail address.
6. Enter the required details.
7. Log off the computer.
8. Login into the newly created Microsoft Account.

STEP 3: Transfer all your data onto the MS Account from the Local Account.

Go to Windows Explorer to navigate to C:\Users to the account you

want to COPY - Right Click on the Folders (and/or files) and COPY - go to the other account

and PASTE where you want to put them. Repeat as needed.

NOTE: Do not delete the folders and files from the account they are in until you are sure they are duplicated where you need them.

STEP 4: Once sure you are done with all your files copied, delete the Local Account.

The MS account will serve as the only account with administrative privileges with all your data.
