Video controls are small - How to resize?

I just got a new computer and every video I've watched the video controls (play button, video timeline, expand, etc) are all very small, on every website and on different video players. The video player size is fine, just not the controls. I've tried changing the resolution, it just changes the screen size, doesn't work. IE video controls seem to ok, but Firefox is where the issue is.

Laptop is a HP Envy 14 sleekbook.

I've posted this earlier but the best to get this out there is to reach them on social media and to report the problem on the feedback app.

testing it to see if everything is working right

With Touch?  The Magnifier is slightly different in W10 but I suspect it is still the designed functionality for this use case.   The Fullscreen Magnifier is easier to understand in Touch mode than in mouse mode IMO.  (E.g. no scrollbars are shown by the Fullscreen Magnifier in mouse mode.)   The Lens magnifier works best in mouse mode but is also quite serviceable in Touch mode.   Some parts of the UI still work best with a mouse or the pen though, so enlarging them with the Magnifier to make a big enough landing area for a finger or capacitive pen nib may be the best you can do with them, especially (but not only) for Touch.

    FYI

I'm shocked to see this problem dates back to 2014 and there's still no official fix.

I just bought a new laptop 2 days ago (an Asus G501JW with Windows 10) and I've been testing it to see if everything is working right and I bump right into the same problem: buttons and some parts of the UI are too freaking small! It happened with VLC, WMP and WPV.

I tried what someone suggested about editing the windows registry (something dangerous to do as I heard, but I read so many people saying it worked that I had to give it a shot) but the problem persisted.

Is this going to get fixed soon? This is been up for 2 years for god sake. Somebody wake Bill Gates up!

Totally, but the more MS knows and is annoyed about this bug hopefully they'll actually do something about this, but take a look a the previous page I believe and there's a link to get in touch w/ MS, I was suggested to use the feedback app (or whatever it's called) to point out bugs, I've also posted social media links to let them know about the problem so suggest you use them.

Had this same problems on both my Surface devices. So, went to search the web. Found this thread and got frustrated... This is a well known problem with the Media player and Microsoft just won't even try to solve it. They sell you the Surfaces for thousands of $, advertising them as if they were the best of the best and then a big disappointment comes...

I think this all thread is a big farce and an epic fail and disgrace for Microsoft Customer Service.

As from answer #1 it is clearly seen, that they are familiar with the problem very good and they know that it's 100% Microsoft's bug. But the world will end before they will dare to admit it.

This is why they are sending you to do tons of useless and irrelevant things from checking updates to completely re-installing your system. In a hope that at some point you'll decide to give up.

SHAME ON YOU MICROSOFT Customer Service, for treating your customers this way. Epic Fail!
