Video controls are small - How to resize?

I just got a new computer and every video I've watched the video controls (play button, video timeline, expand, etc) are all very small, on every website and on different video players. The video player size is fine, just not the controls. I've tried changing the resolution, it just changes the screen size, doesn't work. IE video controls seem to ok, but Firefox is where the issue is.

Laptop is a HP Envy 14 sleekbook.

Same issue. New surface book win 10 pro has issue sizing controls in  WMP, VLC etc as previous posts. With my win 7 laptop, no problem.

In summary it seems windows 10 is a pile of pants.

Be sure to report the issue to MS through the Feedback Hub in the Windows Store. I wouldn't blame W10 specifically for the problem though as I don't have these issues on other W10 computers so it seems to be a computer specific issue but it's still a bug MS needs to work on. Also try to start your own thread so we can get this issue more visible.

Ok, so I bought a new HP tower computer and hooked it up to my TV and I'm having exactly the same problems as everyone else on this thread., specifically with VLC.

This used to be fine and the buttons were a normal size with my old Acer laptop running windows 7, hooked up to the same TV.

So almost 3 years since OP first requested help from MS and still this issue has not been escalated??? is it even being addressed and looked into? or are MS just fobbing everyone off and hoping people get fed up and stop asking about it?

Absolutely shocking display of customer service here. This thread alone highlights Microsoft's blatant disregard for their customers.

Thanks, OK for the icons, etc., but doesn't solve the WMP controls issue.

Thanks for the suggestion, Robert, tried it, but that isn't really a practical solution to the problem. Microsoft needs to come up with a definite fix for this issue.
