Video controls are small - How to resize?

I have a hp envy 14 touchsmart ultrabook. I checked for driver updates on the hp website, showed that none of my drivers needed to be updated. Followed the article, graphics card status is working properly, and drivers are up to date.

• What is the make and model of the computer?

Try updating the display drivers from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue still persists.

To uninstall display driver:

Right click Start button > click Device Manager > expand Display Adapters > right click display driver which has been installed > click Uninstall.

Update/install the latest display driver from the computer manufacturer's website.

Haven't gotten an answer in a couple days, still looking for a solution to this.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't get how creating a new user account will change the video control size, and can I not use a local account? I don't want a microsoft account sign in, just a local account. I had this problem in both a microsoft account and a local account before. Plus w/ creating a new user account and deleting this one I'm going to have to re-install my programs which is going to be a pain. I'll create a new user account but I won't delete this one.

So I created a new account like you said, but problem was still there in that user account.

Thank you for the screenshot and update on the issue.

Try creating a new user account and check if the interface remains the same.

You can follow the steps below and create a new user account.

STEP 1: Switch to Local User Account

1. Press “Windows key +W”.
2. Type “users” without quotes in the search box.
3. Then select “Users” from the left panel.
4. You will get an option “Switch to a Local account” right below your user account name.
5. Select “Switch to a local account” option.
6. Enter the required details.
7. Then login to the local account.

NOTE: Remember your Microsoft Account Password.

STEP 2: Create a NEW Microsoft Account with your PRIMARY e-mail

1. Press “Windows key +C”.
2. Click on Settings and then click on Change PC settings at the bottom of the Right panel.
3. Click on Users listed on the left.
4. Click Add a User under Other Users.
5. Type your PRIMARY Microsoft Account e-mail address.
6. Enter the required details.
7. Log off the computer.
8. Login into the newly created Microsoft Account.

STEP 3: Transfer all your data onto the MS Account from the Local Account.

Go to Windows Explorer to navigate to C:\Users to the account you

want to COPY - Right Click on the Folders (and/or files) and COPY - go to the other account

and PASTE where you want to put them. Repeat as needed.

NOTE: Do not delete the folders and files from the account they are in until you are sure they are duplicated where you need them.

STEP 4: Once sure you are done with all your files copied, delete the Local Account.

The MS account will serve as the only account with administrative privileges with all your data.
