I get error 800F0922 when installing KB3022345 update.

I've tried it both automatically and manually, and always get the same error.

Some advice about this?

Try this:

  1. Uninstall KB3045999
  2. It will ask you to restart windows, but DON'T RESTART
  3. Install KB3022345
  4. Restart Windows
  5. Install KB3045999
  6. Restart Windows

This worked for me.  Good Luck.

    Hi,

KB 3022345 has been updated with the information about SFC unintentionally flagged specific files as corrupted.

The two files are marked as static files in the update. When an advanced user runs the System File Checker Tool (sfc.exe), the files are unintentionally flagged as corrupted. There is no impact or actual corruption on a device running this update, and a later service update will resolve this issue.

I have been trying t get Microsoft to help me with failed updates. I had 98 failed updates The last successful update was in March. I contacted MS support. The could do not fix it. For the past few days i have been on the phone to them many times. They suggested that they reinstall 8.1.  I allowed them knowing that i would loose some programs  but I had my documents and other stuff backed up.  8.1 was reinstalled to day after a couple failures. My files are in a mess but still there. MS office was uninstalled and now it cant be installed again I'm getting an error 1935. MS tried as well. After all this I still have updates that failed to install.

I am back to where I started but without MS office and a lot of tidying up to do and 98 updates that I'm afraid to try and install, if they don't I will probably throw the lot out the window. I tried one update and it failed.

I'm on the phone holding for the past 30 mins this is after been transferred after holding for an hour.

    Any miracle workers out there

    Seamus
